The Quieted Soul

Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. (Ps 131:2) 

How pleasant is the place of rest. To have a soul that has become quiet through trusting and become free from our prideful nature.

Through the leading of the Spirit of the Living God, we will receive spiritual food at the right time. He will give us rest from our performance driven endeavours.

We don’t have to proof anything.

We don’t have to be something we are not.

We can just look into His eyes and know that we are because HE IS. This is the perfect rest. To rest in His finished work.
