Prints: Orchard

Although I’m trying to keep my art affordable, original oil paintings can be a bit pricy for some people.  I understand that.  Therefore, most of my paintings are also available in very good quality canvas prints.  The prints are blocked (25mm deep) and re-enforced with hardboard with coloured sides.

English:

I am an enclosed garden. The desire of my heart is to be pleasing to You.  I invite You to stroll through my orchard.  May every tree, every blossom and fruit bring pleasure to You.

I am a locked spring. I want to keep all impurities out.  I want my garden to be only watered with the living water flowing from Your throne room.

I am a sealed fountain.  Your living waters caused the blossoms and fruit in my garden to develop – it brings life and sweetness for everyone around me.

My desire is for more of You. I want to dwell with you in the garden. I want to smell the flowers with You, I want to taste the fruit and bring in the harvest. Father, may my garden always feed on the living water flowing from Your throne. – pure, clean, sparkling and unpolluted.

Afrikaans:

Ek is ‘n geslote tuin. My hartsbegeerte is om ‘n plesier vir U te wees. Ek nooi U uit – kom stap deur my park vol granate. Mag elke boom, elke bloeisel en elke vrug aangenaam wees vir U.

Ek is ‘n geslote bron. Ek wil onsuiwerhede uithou en seker maak dat my tuin slegs besproei word met water uit U troonkamer.

Ek is ‘n verseëlde fontein. Die bloeisels en vrugte in my tuin het gevorm deur lewende water – lewe en soetheid vir almal wat dit ruik en proe.

Ek verlang na meer van U. Ek wil saam met U wandel in die tuin. Ek wil saam met U die blomme ruik, die vrugte proe en die oes insamel. Vader, mag my tuin altyd gevoed word met die lewende water uit U troon – suiwer, helder, rein en skoon.
