Growing

I went down to the orchard of nut trees to see the flowers of the valley, to see whether the grapevine had budded and the pomegranates were in flower. (Songs 6:11) 

What does it mean to go to the orchard to look for growth?

We find this verse quite late in Song of Songs. After she went through the wilderness. After she visited the mount of myrrh and the hill of frankincense. After she went through Gethsemane where she laid down her will, desires and ambitions.

When we start our journey, we still have a lot of performance drivenness pride in us. As we journey through the desert, we become less in ourselves, wiser and bolder.

Our focus move away from ourselves and we become more and more Kingdom focused. We seek His will and find great joy to see growth around us. We disciple as we were discipled.
