And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowlegde, and in all manner of workmanship to design artistic works (Ex 31:3-4a)

The Holy Spirit once spoke to me about the importance of a heart-hand-connection when doing art.  Since then, this has been my prayer.  My desire is to have my heart connected to the Holy Spirit in order for His grace, love, power, glory and light to be embedded in each brush stroke.

Painting time is pray-time.  It is a time when my hands are busy and my mind and thoughts can be focused on the Word of God.  I will either put on my audio Bible, listen to a teaching or simply just talk to my Father about whatever comes to mind.

I pray that each painting, whether it has a Spiritual theme or not, will bless you.  May His Kingdom come through my art, may only His Will be done and may every single piece glorify His Name.
