Currently the Song of Songs conferences are only available in Afrikaans. Once the English book is published, we’ll launch our first English conference. Please scroll down for an English review.
The goodness of the Lord overwhelms me”.
Die Heilige Gees se teenwoordigheid is elke keer so tasbaar.
Verhouding moet godsdiens verdryf
English review:
When I think back on the previous weekend, the words coming to mind are: “The goodness of the Lord overwhelms me”.
Although the program and material are similar for all Songs of Songs conferences, each conference are unique. Each time, the presence of the Holy Spirit is touchable, and the theme of the weekend are driven and controlled by the Spirit of God.
Relationship must replace religion
The conference took place at the lovely ‘Sip coffee café and deli’, situated in White River, Mpumalanga. There is something so special about this beautiful place. The spiritual atmosphere was light, and we found it easy to move into the Lords’ manifested presence.
Elza de Beer handled all organisation and administration. We are thankful for the efficiency and love in which she managed it all. The whole weekend passed without a glitch. When things are running smoothly and without resistance in the physical, the spiritual can flow so much easier.
We were once again blessed by the guitar music and anointed voice of Theo de Beer. All music during the Song of Songs conferences are handled by us to ensure that theme-related songs are sung. The music varies from singing along a cd to joining Theo with his guitar.
Every beautiful child of God that attended brought something special and unique to the weekend. We are truly thankful of the unity and love that reigned throughout. It was heart-warming to see how the message of Song of Songs and the practical application of it, opened for people. In love, the Lord is busy with each person on his or her unique and exciting journey to spiritual maturity.
I’m sharing a summary of the weekend for those not familiar with the programme:
On Saturday we work through Song of Songs by following the sections in the Song of Songs book. In the first session we teach through every verse with the purpose of giving spiritual keys. The rest of the is spend working through concepts and principles since the key already opened the symbolism.
Session 1: Introduction to Song of Songs and Section 1 (The initial search and find)
Session 2: Section 2 (The test of obedience), Section 3 (Revelation of the King, Encouragement, Spiritual Warfare)
Session 3: Section 3 continues (Our heart’s garden, Gethsemane, Greater anointing)
Session 4: Section 3 continues (Spiritual maturity, The blueprint of spiritual maturity, Longing for union)
On Sunday, we work through the symbolism of the ancient Hebrew wedding and how it connects with the parables in the New Testament that applies to us today. We also look at how Jesus’ bride must have a heart like Rebecca. After the teaching, we renew our commitment as the bride of Christ with a bridal-promise and the meal of covenant. This is the highlight of the weekend.
