Why Song of Songs?
Most people find the book Song of Songs difficult to understand and to apply in their daily walk with the Lord. It is our passionate desire to proof otherwise.
Song of Songs is practical and very relevant.
Did you know that Song of Songs is like a roadmap that leads us into an intimate relationship with Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Song of Songs is a highly spiritual book packed with hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered.
It is a book for the end time bride of Jesus Christ. If you desire a deeper, closer and more intimate relationship with the Lord, you cannot afford not to understand Song of Songs.
Who are we?
We are a husband and wife team, Louis and Yolandie Mostert. We have been happily married since 2002 and have the privilege to live in the beautiful Waterfall-river valley close to Lydenburg, in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province.
We do not have any pastoral qualifications. We have been taught and trained over many years in the school of the Holy Spirit. We are totally dependent on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. Yolandie loves to paint and write. Louis has a passion for wood and leather-work and is producing beautiful products that will bring joy and light into your home. Why the name Lighuis?
Lighuis is the Afrikaans word for lighthouse or house of light. The Lord has given us a picture of a house with bright beams shining in all directions. Through a life of obedience, surrender and worship, our lights will able to shine stronger into the darkness. We are all called to let our lights shine to bring glory to the Father. In Your light we see light (Ps 36:9b)
Our heart?
We want to see the bride of Jesus:
- Live a life of obedience and worship in the fullness of Christ
- Being equipped with knowledge and power
- Actively waiting for His return with fresh oil in her lamp, extra oil for the dark nights ahead and adorned in a pure white garment
What do we do?
Each one of us receives a piece of the puzzle. There is not one person that knows everything about the riches and glory of our King. We want to contribute the piece that we’ve received to the body of Christ in humility and love. Our puzzle piece is all about the message of Song of Songs and the practical application thereof. We do this through literature, articles, conferences and teachings.
We also minister to children of the Lord who longs for a deeper relationship with Him, but are being blocked by anything from bloodline curses, bondages, past hurt, trauma, addictions and so forth.
We believe that true and heartfelt repentance is the key to remove any legal right the enemy might have gained in our lives. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and to set the captives free. He paid for this with His precious and powerful Blood, but leaves the responsibility with us to apply it to our spirit, soul and body.
May the Bridegroom find a pure and spotless bride on His return – a bride with her heart cleaved to His.
